This blog has been created by two moth enthusiasts living in the Strettons in South Shropshire, to celebrate the many species of moths found in this part of the county. The town of Church Stretton, and the villages of All Stretton and Little Stretton, are nestled in the Shropshire Hills on the eastern edge of the Long Mynd. This landscape of upland heath, bracken and grass slopes, woodland, small streams and wetland flushes is home to large number of moth species.
This blog is celebration of the moths found here, and through sightings and photographs shows what we are discovering through recording moths in this beautiful part of Shropshire.
